From Kamloops to Celtic — Callum Osmand’s football journey continues to rise.

The 19-year-old forward, who appeared last summer at the Kamloops International Cup with Fulham’s U21 squad, has officially signed with Scottish giants Celtic FC. It’s a major move for the Welsh youth international, who caught the attention of Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers with his pace, power, and sharp finishing.

Osmand impressed during Fulham’s preseason tour in Kamloops, where they faced a League1 BC All-Star side made up of some of British Columbia’s top players. Even in a friendly setting, Osmand’s composure and attacking quality stood out.

He carried that momentum into the 2024–25 campaign, scoring 10 goals in 17 matches in Premier League 2 and adding another in the EFL Trophy. His consistent performances at the U21 level have now earned him a contract with one of Europe’s most storied clubs.

Celtic announced the signing on June 30, with Rodgers noting: “He’s a quick and powerful striker and I’m really looking forward to working with him.”
